AWESOME PAINTING IS AWESOME

We have huge company painting affixed to the wall along the reception/waiting area of our office. It’s like an enormous where’s Waldo kind of design and it’s quite humorous, so it’s pretty much interesting to stare at whenever you’re bored (because I sometimes do that, well not that I had nothing to do at those times).



Yesterday’s session with the painting was interesting. While I was waiting for someone and killing time, my officemate pointed at a certain part of the canvass.


A wild Darth Vader appeared! Artistry level: AWESOME. How in the world could I ever miss that? I really better get my eyes checked.

LIGHTS GO OUT AND IT CAN'T BE SAVED

I have honestly forgotten how to start and end a blog entry, but I’m still pushing through to this post no matter how deconstructed or confusing the plot will be.

Makati is really the place to be during the Christmas season. The lights and decorations are too beautiful and amazing, particularly in Ayala triangle (park). I always pass by the area whenever I leave the office and it’s really mesmerizing, I never thought that lights could be as astonishing as intense pyrotechnics. I immediately told my family about the light show and convinced them to go there before the holiday season ends.

There were a lot of people when my family and I went there (right after Christmas) but it was spacey since the park was big. It was a treat! Such food for the eyes. This was a simple but a very memorable way to celebrate Christmas with the family.

The glowing trees and decorations made me feel like I was in Avatar, I think that was their peg.

Just to be in line with all the pretty lights and Avatar like place, I made a cover of “Electric Feel” by MGMT. Experimented with my new guitar and some effects. I never use minus ones or any downloadable instrumental tracks whenever I record covers. I make all my records from scratch. And now I need a condenser mic :) hope I could get one this year.

DAY 19- 22

Day 19

Something New: "STORIES" All New Tales Edited by Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio. I purchased this book a million years ago and I haven't laid eyes on a single page. It still looks and smells new. I really need to catch up with my other books so I could finally read this one.

Day 20

Something Orange: David Bowie's lightning make-up. Of course. This is ORIGINALITY.

Day 21 and 22

What I Want: Bowler Hat. THIS THING! So hard to find! But if I do I'll prolly go crazy over it.

What I Miss: Futsal. I made this seal after college. This was also the time when they took the girls out from the mix in our school's annual Camacho Cup futsal tournament. I miss the fun and intensity in every game, however, the girls are always here to support the boys. We're still Kathay United anyway.

I just found my brother's 13 year old blazer and attached red bias on some parts of the garment.

IT'S ALIVE

I feel so guilty for leaving this blog entry-less for almost one month. I also feel like I have so much explaining to do but then the only reason for the idleness is work and it has been eating so much time. I would sleep most of the (free) time since it’s rare for me to get one for the past few weeks.

ANYWAY, although I have been MIA for awhile, I still have the urge to continue the 30 day drawing challenge and I will try my best to keep my entries updated.
